I bought it from a longtime collector I’ve purchased several cars from. It had been sitting for about 10 years, so I went through it, got it running, installed all new brakes, a new fuel tank, and a new fuel pump. Since then I’ve put a few miles on it, and it seems to run and drive pretty well. The 351 sounds healthy with a nice cam, and it’s equipped with power steering and power brakes. The interior was reupholstered, the body and underbody are solid with only minimal rust, and the paint presents well overall but isn’t perfect - it has a few bubbles here and there. I simply lost interest and don’t have the time to take it to the next level. It’s a great car to enjoy as it sits or an excellent foundation for someone wanting to build a show quality Mach 1.
